#Covid-19 : Mock Drill in Balod City Over Corona….Five Hundred Officer-Employees Foreboding in Monitoring Collector-SP, Review of the Area by Flag-March

In the event of any person being found infected with the Novel Corona Virus in the district, it was screened by the district administration from 08 am to 05 pm today to ensure proper treatment. Under the guidance of Collector Ranu Sahu and Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh Meena, marking ward number-11 of Nagar Palika Parishad Balod for Mock Drill, considering the presence of corona virus infected patient there and rushed him to a safe hospital from his home and given proper treatment. The entire process was standardized.

The incident command team was activated as soon as the information was received, immediately by barricading the core area and the buffer area, an exit and an entry were made. Traffic from that area is diverted by the traffic team. Simultaneously, 5 Rapid Response Team also started their work and started survey of all the houses in the core area. 

The contact tracing was carefully done by the team, and the primary contact persons were immediately sent to the Quarantine Center. Samples were taken after placing people in secondary contact in the home revolution. 
Road diverted at 10 places by police team. The shops of the ward were closed by the police team. Four cleaning teams were formed by the municipality. The ward was sanitized by four teams from the municipality. Four teams were formed to supply house to house ration, milk, medicines etc. Fodder for cattle was transported by the municipality.

Collector and Superintendent of Police jointly conducted a flag march and inspected the area. Treatment of one person was performed at Kovid Hospital. Five people, including the family and tenant of the said person, were placed in the quarantine center. About 500 officers, employees joined the Mock Drill. During this period all the activities of the area were monitored through drone camera.

Collector Ranu Sahu praised the officers and employees involved in the Mock Drill conducted today to ensure proper treatment of a person in the district if he is infected with Novel Corona virus. He said that officers, employees of the Revenue Department, Police Department, Health Department and Urban Bodies Department did better work through mutual coordination during the course of the Mock Drill.
