SDM Ruchi Sharma removed due to controversy, Collector removed after investigation report of ADM….Allegations of beating of ex-servicemen living in Home-Isolation

The Lormi SDM, which has been embroiled in controversies over the assault on the ex-serviceman for the last few days, has finally been discharged, Mungeli Collector Sarveshwar Bhure has made the administrative reshuffle in the district, removing Ruchi Sharma from the post of Lormi SDM and assigned the responsibility of Lormi SDM to Naveen Kumar Bhagat.This administrative reshuffle is being seen as an action against SDM Ruchi Sharma. It is believed that after the investigation report of ADM Rajesh Nashin, District Magistrate and Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure has taken this action against accused SDM Ruchi Sharma.

What is the matter


The case is of Dindol village. It is being told that Sainik Govind Ram Sahu was posted in Siliguri, West Bengal. After retiring on 31 March, he reached his village Dindol after staying at the Quarantine Center in Nashik for a month. After reaching the village, he informed it to the sarpanch at Lormi Police Station and Gram Panchayat. On this, Sarpanch Ramnivas Rathore said that there was no arrangement in the village Quarantine Center Primary School, Dindol and asked him to stay in home isolation and sticker of home isolation sticker in front of the house. The ex-soldier was on home isolation for the last 12 days. He has alleged that Lormi SDM reached the house of the retired soldier in the presence of the sarpanch on Saturday and beat him with a stick, taking him out of the house. It is also alleged that SDM Ruchi Sharma took the ex-soldier to the quarantine center and left him locked. Where there was neither sleeping nor eating facilities. In this case, former soldier Govind Ram Sahu demanded action against SDM. He warned the district administration that if action is not taken against SDM, then he will sit on fast unto death with wife and children.
Collector ordered an inquiry

Mungeli Collector ordered an inquiry into the matter. A day before ADM Rajesh Nasheen reached Dindol village to investigate the matter, ADM took the statement of the village sarpanch, Ramnivas Rathore, ex-serviceman’s wife Chandramani Sahu, besides the residents of the village, and Santosh Sahu, vice-president of the Ex-Servicemen Organization. At the same time, his statement could not be made due to former soldier Govind Ram Sahu living in the Quarantine Center. ADM Rajesh Nasheen has issued a notice in which he has asked Govind Ram Sahu to appear in his office and record his statement after the end of his quarantine period. On the other hand, the investigating officer has also taken the statement of Lormi SDM Ruchi Sharma and District Panchayat CEO Preeti Pawar, now after the statement of the victim in this whole case, the Additional District Magistrate had submitted the inquiry report to the Collector.

Collector Sarveshwar Bhure while discussing with CG News24.com said that this is an administrative reshuffle of the district administration, there is no talk of any action on it.
