Big achievement : “Padhai Tunhar Duar” Program becomes an effective medium of education : SCERT Director discusses with online class students

Given the success of the ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ program, there is no doubt that this program will become a strong medium of education in future. This program has also facilitated the students from home sitting and teaching in a very comfortable manner in the event of a crisis and lockdown like corona infection and has also been helpful in their all round development. Under the online education portal ‘Padhai Tuhar Duar’ program operated by Chhattisgarh Government School Education Department, 3242 students participated in online classes of Geography, Social Science, Mathematics conducted in State Educational Research and Training Council (SCERT). During the online studies of social science subject of class 10th, the Director of SCERT Jitendra Kumar Shukla discussed the online education portal ‘Padhai Tuhar Duar’ program and online classroom experience with the students associated with the class. The students present described it as a new interesting experience.

This portal of ‘Padhai Tuhar Duar’ was formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on April 7 last month. Today, after a month, its success figure has touched 27 crore page views.In which about 20 lakh students are getting education from more than one lakh 70 thousand teachers by registering. Students of both government schools and private schools are taking advantage of this online education. This portal of ‘Padhai Tuhar Duar’ is available on CGSchoolDotIn. Students are studying on the mobile laptop or tab as per their convenience through this site. Online classes are being conducted in an attractive manner on this web portal.In which students join their online class by selecting their class and subject and also interacting with the teachers, in a way it is the nature of the actual classroom. Just as homework is given to children in real classrooms, in the same way homework is also given in it. The children upload their homework in PDF format on the portal and the teacher checks it and gives feedback. These website, prepared at no cost to the children, are also available free of cost.
