“Not a king, I am son of a farmer”: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur. Addressing the programme organized at Bilaspur District Headquarters on January 4, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel humbly said that he is not a king, he is son of a farmer.


Chief Minister said the aforementioned statement in context of being referred to as a ‘King’ by Bilaspur MLA Shailesh Pandey in his address. MLA Shailesh Pandey had referred to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel as a King, while addressing the programme.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed his disagreement to MLA Shailesh Pandey’s views and said that he is a farmer’s son and he wants to be identified as that. Chief Minister is eager to serve people of Chhattisgarh round the clock. Not only him, but the Cabinet members as well are committed towards serving peope of the state.
